Winter sports

Good contact between shoe and foot is indispensable especially in winter sports, in order to transfer the power required to the skis. Thanks to their slim form, NovaPED winter sport foot supports generally fit into narrow skating and ski boots and provide a good attachment to the ski due to their light cup shape.
There are two different models available.

NovaPED sports

Characteristic for the NovaPED sports "Skating" foot supports is relief of the lateral metatarsal bones, in order to assure good power transmission in the skating technique used, which is evident in cross-country skiing, speed skating and ice hockey.

In classic cross-country skiing, another technique is used. Here your forefoot is firmly connected to the ski; at the same time, the heel is slightly raised during the series of movements. For this reason, the forefoot area is of greater importance in classic cross-country skiing and in telemark.

NovaPED sports

In the model "Classic" the area of the head of the metatarsal bones is supported, in order to ensure control over the entire forefoot. This helps achieve better transmission of power.
